Nikki Frias has contributed to Forbes, The Daily Beast, and Boardroom. She is an author, writing coach, and teacher specializing in comedy writing and facilitating improv in the corporate world. After noticing struggles with finishing her own book, she started “Book on a Budget” coaching to help writers achieve their goals with an affordable a la carte style, offering support at any stage of the writing process. She is the author of Damn, You Still Single? and Does This Divorce Make Me Look Fat?

Currently, she teaches improv, sketch, and comedy writing at The Washington Improv Theater, The DC Improv, and the Writer’s Center. With over a decade of experience as a teacher in the DMV area, she fosters a supportive environment for students to explore their creativity. Known for her dynamic teaching style, she emphasizes confidence and collaboration in improv, while her writing workshops focus on storytelling and finding one's voice. Her unique approach integrates improvisation into writing, inspiring students to unleash their artistic potential both onstage and on the page.
